Who we are

Mai Shawwa is a criminal defense attorney serving in Kern County, California. Mai obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Sacramento State University and a Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law.

Mai worked for a Federal judge in the Eastern District and is a former Tax lawyer withPriceWaterhouseCooper(s).   Mai moved to Bakersfield in 2006 and began her career in criminal defense ever since.  Mai is the Vice President of the Criminal Defense section of the Kern County Bar Association.
